Paul Hamon, his father Howard and mother Desrae at a Halloween fancy-dress ballroom dancing party in October 1988. Howard is costumed as a werewolf — his substantial beard required minimal additional makeup. Paul has white face paint and a blue shirt; Desrae wears a black dress and pointed witch’s hat.
