Paul Hamon is buried in a large sand mound at Semaphore Beach, Adelaide, in the summer of 1980. Only his head, shoulders and arms are free; he wears a blue cap and smiles at the camera. Mark Hamon’s legs stand behind the mound — Paul recalls that Mark likely did most of the hard work of burying him. Photograph by Howard Hamon.
